Hi! My name is Evan Mitchell and I am a Windsor Secondary graduate and current student-athlete at McMaster University on the men's varsity soccer team. I've played soccer since I was 4-years-old and I've been fortunate enough to play in the Vancouver Whitecaps Residency and BC Provincial team. Along my journey playing soccer, I've been able to gain knowledge about the game but also life in general. I have volunteered at NVFC for multiple spring and summer camps. For NVFC, I also worked as a coach for the U5 Kickstart program where I introduced playing soccer at the most basic level to many kids who have never played the game before. I have also spent 1.5 years at TOCA soccer training individual clients as well as camp sessions. Finally, I played senior basketball at Windsor Secondary where I started as the shooting guard and competed in many tournaments and playoff games. My goal is to assist young kids and their journey in sport by providing fun and engaging sessions and camps.
Hi! My name is Casey Grieves and I am a Windsor Secondary graduate currently attending Capilano University in the Business program. Since I was young, sports was my passion. Playing a variety of sports including soccer, softball, basketball, volleyball, and ultimate for my high school. In high school, I won multiple athletic awards and at the end of high school, I finished with the highest amount of athletic awards. During the past couple of years, I have developed a passion for coaching. Once I had graduated from Windsor, I was the head coach of the grade 8 girls volleyball and basketball teams. Working with these girls helped me learn to adapt to different types of athletes. Currently, I am a Development Centre Coach working at NSGSC. This opportunity has taught me a variety of different skills when it comes to working with young athletes. My goal is to help kids develop skills and knowledge in a variety of sports, and especially have fun while doing it!
